Privacy notice
Who we are
Hull & Co. Growth is a trading name of L Hull Industries Ltd (company number 14274295), 1 Fisher Lane, Bingham, Nottingham, NG13 8BQ. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Questions about your data: lewis@hullandcogrowth.com or 07393 773164.
What we collect
- When you contact us by email, phone, LinkedIn or the teardown form: your name, contact details, your business name and the products or details you send us. The form on our website does not send or store anything itself; it opens your own email app, and we receive only the email you choose to send.
- When you ask for an audit or become a client: the Amazon reports you send us (such as the Search Term report and Business Report), the data we see in any Amazon account you give us user access to, and the business and billing details we need to work with you. These reports are about your products and advertising. Please don't send reports that contain your customers' personal details.
- When you visit this website: our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to you and prepare a teardown or audit you've asked for: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and taking steps at your request before a contract.
- To manage your ads or deliver coaching, and to invoice you: performance of our contract with you.
- To keep business and tax records: legal obligation.
- To follow up once about an enquiry or teardown, if you're a business contact: our legitimate interest. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, such as our email provider and Cloudflare for website hosting, who process data on our behalf. We'll share data with our accountant or authorities only where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months. Client records and invoices: 6 years after our work ends, as required for tax. Amazon reports you send for an audit: deleted within 12 months of the audit unless you're a client.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
